Looking to have a wedding in early September? The beginning of this month was quite pleasant as far as temperatures go! One of the most special moments of your wedding always seems to be enjoying it with your new husband or wife, and spending the time with your closest friends and family! This couple did exactly that and, as you can tell by these photos by Sherri Barber Photography, they had a ton of fun. One of our favorite parts was their photo booth set-up, where guests could grab a prop or two (...or 5?) and Sherri or Bill would snap entertaining photos of them.
We'd like to thank those who helped make this possible! Venue: Tapestry House Wedding and Event Center. Photography: Sherri Barber Photography. Florist: Earle's. Food: Origins Catering.

Erin + Greg: A Match Made in Heaven
Happy September! We still can't believe that Autumn is right around the corner already! We had such a wonderful summer with such amazing couples! The groom from this couple is actually one of our own! You may have seen him working events or on the grounds crew. While they had already made the decision to marry at Tapestry House before he started working with us, he really enjoyed getting a behind-the-scenes peek at how things work here! This couple had such a fun time celebrating their wedding day at Tapestry House that we wanted to share their joy with you! While it did rain for a little while before the ceremony, it cleared up just in time for the start of the event! Enjoy these photos from Sherri Barber Photography!

Jeannie + Gary: Sweet Love!
Last month, we at Tapestry House had the chance of working with a very sweet couple! They dressed the room in pastel pinks and purples with beautiful flowers! One of our favorite parts, though, was their ice cream bar! Coldstone Creamery provided a couple flavors of ice cream as well as delicious toppings! Here's a peek at some of the photos from this couple's touching ceremony! The bride chose to come down the side of the house from the bridal suite instead of from the front doors which allowed for some beautiful photos seen below!

Jenae + Anthony: A Match Made in Heaven
FLASHBACK TIME! Want to learn a little bit more about this couple who were married at Tapestry House a couple years ago? Here are some fun facts! They first met in high school. Anthony tried to pursue Jenae multiple times during high school and into college. Jenae finally gave in and now they are happily married! Tom K. Photography was here to capture the beautiful wedding with fun music (they had a bluegrass band!) and great traditions (Grandpa led a traditional Mexican dance!). Check out more pictures on Tom's blog, too!
Congratulations to the two of you!! :)

Kristen + Mark: I Could Have Danced All Night!
Here's a sneak peek at a Tapestry House wedding from summer 2012! Every couple has a unique story and way that they wish their wedding will look and this couple is no exception! Kristen loved flowers and made sure to have a lot of beautiful ones at her wedding! She chose flowers in vibrate colors which really popped against the ivory tablecloths. Both of them loved to dance, though, which made it essential to save the entire inside pavilion area for dancing! All of their tables were on the patio for guests to enjoy dinner before the headed under the twinkle lights to dance the night away. To view more photos, make sure to visit Tom K's blog as well!

Autumn + Cas: Go Broncos!
Check out this wedding we hosted! It was a really fun event that combined a lot of this couple's favorite things! They loved movies, so instead of having a number for every table so that guests could find their seats, they had movies related to love and weddings such as "Bridesmaids," "When Harry Met Sally," and "I Love You, Man." This couple also loves the Broncos football team, so they chose orange and blue (Broncos colors) for their wedding colors! They also incorporated many football details into the ceremony and reception. Check out more awesome photos from their event by following the link!
Congratulations to Autumn and Cas! We loved working with this wonderful couple and the great vendors who were also a part of this event! Photography by Tom K. Photography. Food by Main Street Catering. Flowers by Palmer Florals. Cake by Fiona's Bakery. Music by Colorado Sound.

Brittany & Preston: Going Green!
Now we don't pick favorites at Tapestry House, but we did really enjoy a lot of the details from this wedding, which is why we wanted to be able to show you! While we already featured a few of our personal photos of table decor and fun wedding details, we fell in love with Tom K's photographs from this event as well and couldn't help but share them! The couple arrived for their reception in a 1948 Chrysler New Yorker convertible in a beautiful mint green color which matched a lot of their wedding details! Take a look at a few photos here or for more, visit Tom K's blog! One of our favorite details was the very sweet love notes that the groom wrote on the bottom of the bride's shoes (pictured below). It was a very special surprise that she thoroughly enjoyed!
