Saber Arch Sweetness!

One of our happy couples had a military wedding recently. Not only was the groom a member of the military, but so was his beautiful bride. On the way out of their ceremony they had an 8 person saber arch, also known as "crossed sabers". It was stunning. The shiny sabers, the sparkling buttons and the happy smiles on everyone's faces were impressive. Traditionally the saber arch is a way to symbolize the couple's safe passage into their new life together. Often the couple also uses a saber to cut the wedding cake as well. This photo from another wedding shows the last two saber bearers holding their sabers in the couples way. The only way to ensure moving forward is for the groom to kiss his bride. So romantic! :)

Happy Memorial Day! Thank you to all of those out there who have or are currently sacrificing for us all.
