"DIY" Creative Brides

We love to see all of the unique touches in each wedding. The small things that are personal and sentimental really add the most value to a wedding, we think. That is why we love the "DIY" brides. We realize the amount of time and effort that goes into a wedding! AND we know that those brides that choose to handle the small (and the big) details on their own, certainly take on an enormous amount of work.

However, with that disclaimer, we will also say that the beauty is in the details. This weekend we had a bride who put her heart and soul into creating a beautiful wedding for her and her fiance. She made pomander balls to hangover the cupcake table, assigned seating table numbers that fit into the peacock theme, and simple yet very elegant votives to hang on shepherds hooks that lined the entryway to the ceremony site. She also HAND PAINTED her aisle runner with their names and date and some delicate black scroll work.

We were very impressed with her creativity and talent. We wish these two love birds all the best in their future together. We know he is in good and very capable hands with his new wife :)
