That Little Piece of Paper!

The most important part of a wedding isn't the dress, flowers or even the cake.  It is the marriage license!  That one little piece of paper that says you are officially married.

So what do you do when you forget your marriage license at home.... in Washington D.C.?!?!?!

One of our couples recently left their license at home and did not have it to sign the day of their ceremony.  The bride was pretty sad about not having pictures of signing the marriage license, so we typed one up for her!  (For photo purposes only of course)  It read:

TAPESTRY HOUSE MARRIAGE LICENSE
This is the fake marriage license for (inserted her name here) and (inserted his name here).  On the _________ day of _______ they got married.

It was so much fun that they both actually signed their fake license! :)  But she got the photos of them signing a "document" and that was what the fake license was all about.  Congrats to you both, we hope your trip home to D.C. is a safe one.  Enjoy one another and take care of each other.  We wish you all the best.

P.S. DONT FORGET TO SIGN THE REAL ONE WHEN YOU GET HOME  :)
