Words From the Heart

Weddings are often associated with all the material details. Cakes, favors, flowers, centerpieces... However last night's couple focused on details that were far more important.

They had prerecorded a message to their families that they played during their ceremony. Their parents were totally surprised! It was such a sweet way to say the things they really wanted to say to their parents in front of their family and friends. It made both sets of parents feel very loved without the added pressure on the couple to remember everything they wanted to say in front of 200 guests.

Everyone in attendance was smiling and some were crying at the touching statements. The lesson we took from this personal touch is an important one; Don't forget to tell those that you love how grateful you are for their presence in your life. Easier said than done, we realize - but it would be a hard lesson to learn if you took time with your loved ones for granted.
