Over the summer we had the pleasure of helping to celebrate a couple's 50th wedding anniversary! It was so much fun because they had a lot of vintage details from their wedding 50 years ago! They even displayed their original suit and wedding dress from the ceremony that they had and featured many pictures from their wedding day! Since we had so much fun being a part of this, we wanted to share it with all of you, too!
The cake was made by the wife of the groom's cousin. It was a beautiful, vintage-looking cake that mimicked the cake that the couple had on their wedding day. Not only did it look beautiful, but we heard it tasted delicious!!
Out on the path, they had a couple vintage cars that guests could take pictures in. We think that they look good on the Tapestry House property because they compliment the house so nicely! It was fun for our staff to take a look at the cars as well. You could tell that the couple was just as happy as they were in photos from the day they were married and we felt so lucky to be able to share this time with them! Congratulations to the both of you!
