"Waiting on a Woman"

You just never know what can happen! We pride ourselves on having a great staff and being able to overcome all the obstacles that can come towards you on a wedding day! And just a few weeks ago we were grateful that this is the way we execute our weddings!

Everything was so beautiful: the weather, the decorations (including 6-foot tall shepherd's hooks lining the aisle!), and everyone was where they were supposed to be. The bride had headed out to her carriage she was to be arriving on, and everyone else was making their entrance into the ceremony. It was then that I received a call that the carriage driver needed assistance. Two of our staff exited quickly to help and found that a tire had slipped and needed to be fixed.

The bride's entrance was beautiful and FULL of anticipation! Married & happy, the bride & groom exited from the end of the ceremony, and climbed into the carriage again to spend a few moments alone before the rest of the party continued! As they arrived back, I went to apologize and see how they were doing with everything. Smiling as they climbed from the carriage and thanking the driver, I asked how they were feeling and apologized to the groom for making him wait. He just laughed and said, "I think you should've just started playing 'Waiting on a Woman'!"

The perfect attitude on your wedding day! Such a beautiful wedding and only a minor delay, we're so glad you're happy and together!
