A recent couple who tied the knot at Tapestry House made sure to embrace all of the wedding traditions, including a new twist, giving the Father of the Bride a "Dowry"!The candle lit aisle way was gorgeous, the bride's dress, hair and make up all immaculate and as the father of bride gave her away, the groom approached them both with this wedding pig. He told his father-in-law that he was so lucky to be getting his daughter that he wanted to give HIM a dowry instead of the traditional dowry going to the groom. He said his new wife-to-be was treasure enough and he felt as if he owed his new father-in-law for the woman of his dreams.
Everyone in attendance laughed, and some shed a few tears. It was a sweet gesture that made the father of the bride tear up, just a little; For he knew that his daughter was a priceless treasure as well!
