Surprise Saxophone

This week we had a bride who was given a very special wedding present. Her bother, who was very musically gifted and plays guitar in a band, decided he would surprise her and learn how to play the saxophone. He started practicing and eventually learned how to play the song she wanted to walk down the aisle to, "Cannon in D".

She was standing with her father behind Tapestry House's front doors waiting for her cue to walk down the stairs. We had opened the windows to the front porch where her brother was standing waiting to play. He started playing the first few notes and her face lit up!!

It was such a look of surprise, then realization and then sheer happiness! (SO WISH WE HAD A CAMERA READY!!) She was crying before we had even opened the doors. She and her father walked out onto the porch with all of her family and friends smiling and watching. As her brother played the first few bars of "Cannon in D", the bride and her father stood and watched him. The look that passed between siblings was priceless.

Shortly there after he stopped and we streamlined right into her musical track. It was perfect. She and her father continued down the aisle and the most loving and magical ceremony followed!

Congratulations to this couple! The music of love is vast and varying. Hold close to the love of each other, and the love of your families. You are truly blessed, as are we who were able to share in your love. Thank you!
