This month we had a bride who was very close to her mother. They were self-proclaimed best friends and were such a cute and loving pair that it was very fun to see them together that day.
Along the lines of "something old, something borrowed" this bride decided to use her mother's veil. It was exquisite and actually looked as if it had been made to match her modern dress. It was just such a sweet memory for her parents and it made the brides memory of her wedding day that much sweeter.
Later as they cut their cake, we did a closer inspection of her cake topper. It was a small bride and groom, very traditionally dressed with the groom in a gray tuxedo with tails and the bride in a long sleeve dress... That too had also been her parent's.
Believe it or not girls (and guys) sometimes mother does know best!! Best Wishes to this couple, may your future children cherish your memories just as much. We are sure they will since you had such great role models.
