At the end of June, we had the chance to work with a wonderful couple! From their beautiful centerpieces to their amazing cake display, this wedding was so pretty! Their colors were a lavender purple, lemon yellow, and white. These colors looked great with our twinkle lights and created a very special glow for the couple's reception! Take a look!
For a closer look at their centerpieces, they sliced fresh lemons in half, placed those in our vases, filled them with water and also put some wildflower blossoms in them as well. They looked so beautiful because the flowers matched the napkin color perfectly!! The cake was also really fun because it played with the fruit from the centerpieces. It was also one of the larger cake displays that we here at Tapestry House have seen in awhile! It was a perfect focal point for the reception.
One of the most memorable moments from their wedding, though, did not involve the decor or the cake. It revolved around a very special dance and song that the bride and her bridesmaids performed for the groom and all of their guests. Have you heard the catchy tune "Hey, I just met you, and this is crazy, but here's my number, so call me maybe"? Well, the bride and bridesmaids sported cute sunglasses and had a choreographed dance to "Call Me Maybe" by Carly Rae Jepsen. The groom, and the crowd, LOVED it!! It was so much fun to see them surprise the groom and guests in that way. What confidence it takes to get up there in front of all of your guests and dance as they did! We wish this couple all the best and are glad he didn't just "call her maybe" but actually did call her! Look where they ended up, married and starting a beautiful life together!
